1. Proud to be an American – Why foreigners love to hate us

WHY ELVIS IS ALIVE!

This is a history, civics, economics, foreign relations, negotiating, business techniques, cultural-understanding and motivation program like none other on earth.

This is not a talk.  This is a show!

It is appropriate for association members who work, manage, deal, or interact with people who were born or live in foreign countries.  It is a “feel-good about yourself” program for Americans and a revealing insight to the world about America and Americans.

2. Selling American to the world…working in foreign markets

From Internet to handshake deals, this program helps you navigate international waters.  Before you can sell to a foreign market, you need to understand it, its people and its culture.  The fear of the “Ugly American” is silent, yet pervasive.  This program emphasizes techniques for developing trust and improving communication.  How to proceed with small steps for win-win results.  It provides successful negotiating methods for the international arena.

3.  How to make money and have fun dealing with newcomers and visitors to the U.S.A.

The United States is overwhelming even to the most sophisticated foreign visitor or newcomer.  The choices of services and products are astounding.  Ask any visitor to the United States how perplexing it is to choose a salad dressing or potato side dish with your entrée in a family-style restaurant.  (The choices are rattled off with machine-gun speed by a high school graduate server who then peers at you with patient expectation for your selection.)

Newcomers and visitors are an excellent source of new business.  They do not have established brands or service providers.  Businesses need not get them to switch to something new:  they must encourage them to select their product or service as a first choice.

This program emphasizes the challenges and concerns facing newcomers and visitors to the U.S.A.  It provides marketing strategies and ideas to develop new opportunities.  It shows why taking little steps is the way to success and how trust is established through cultural understanding and performance.
